How we handle financial information.

Pax Orbis is operated by Pax Orbis LLC.

Information you give us when you create an account (name, email).

Financial account information received through Quiltt when you connect banks (balances, holdings, valuations, transactions).

Usage information generated by your use of the service.

We share information with service providers who need it to operate Pax Orbis: Quiltt (with its data partners Finicity and FinGoal) for linked bank connectivity and transaction categorization, Stripe for billing, Anthropic for the AI that answers your questions (to answer, it receives your message and the parts of your financial file needed for that answer; see its retention in the Privacy Policy), and standard infrastructure providers for hosting and support.

Each provider's own notice applies to the data it handles: Quiltt Terms, Quiltt Privacy Policy, Finicity Terms and Privacy and FinGoal Privacy Policy.

We share information when required by law.

We do not share your information for marketing purposes, we do not share it with unaffiliated companies for their own use, and we do not sell it.

Because we don't share your information for marketing or with unaffiliated third parties for their own use, the opt-out mechanisms required for those categories don't apply here. If that ever changes, this notice will change with it, and you'll be able to opt out at that time.

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access is limited to what's needed to operate the service. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy's Security and Retention section.
