Small files, not secrets.
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a site stores in your browser. Pax Orbis uses them to run the service, not to build an advertising profile of you.
What we use
Two categories, nothing else.
Essential: session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in and keep your account secure. The service does not function without these.
Analytics: basic, aggregate usage data (pages viewed, general engagement) used to understand how the product is used.
We do not use cookies for advertising, we do not build cross-site profiles, and we do not sell any data derived from cookies.
Third parties
Who else touches this.
Stripe sets cookies during checkout to process payment securely; that use is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. Any analytics provider we use only receives aggregate, non-identifying usage data.

Turn them off in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect core functionality.
